We are passionate about improving care pathways for our clients. To help achieve this, we offer a range of services such as in-house training for GP’s, Orthopaedic Specialist Assessment clinics, and guidance on improving efficiency when considering investigations.
OUR CORE PRINCIPLES
At Physiostation, we have the necessary skills and knowledge to accurately diagnose patients based on sound clinical reasoning. This is underpinned by our extensive experience of working within the NHS and, in particular, from working within Orthopaedic Assessment and Triage clinics. As a result, we can appropriately recognise when investigations, such as MRI scans, are beneficial, as well as when it is necessary to refer on to see an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
In addition to our extensive experience of working within musculoskeletal medicine, we are also very passionate about keeping up-to-date with the latest evidence based treatments. Our Masters level qualifications ensure we have the confidence and ability to critically analyse research and implement any recommendations into practice. Where available, we adhere to NICE guidelines, such as for Non-Specific Low Back Pain. As a result, you can be sure your patients will receive the best possible physiotherapy treatments.
We believe the most important aspect of any rehabilitation programme is to understand the true cause of the original problem. We will utilise our experience of recognising physical and environment risk factors to not only educate your patients on these but also provide active management strategies to help prevent re-occurrence.
