Physiostation is the culmination of many years’ clinical experience with the sole aim of providing the highest quality, clinically proven treatments within a timely manner. Its founders, Dean Anthony and Stephen Egerton, established Physiostation to enable anyone who suffers with joint, muscle or nerve related pain to have early access to accurate diagnosis, high quality physiotherapy treatment and effective preventative strategies.
DEAN ANTHONY MCSP SRP MAACP
Dean qualified in 2001 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University. Since then he has worked and studied extensively in the fields of Musculoskeletal medicine and Orthopaedics. He has worked at multiple NHS locations in the North West culminating in his current role as an Advanced Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Specialist based in Warrington.
In addition to his wealth of clinical experience, Dean has also gained extensive post graduate education including qualifications in Acupuncture, Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection Therapy. Dean is passionate about utilising his education and clinical experience to offer a physiotherapy service centred on exceptionally high standards of care.
STEPHEN EGERTON MCSP SRP AMACP
Stephen qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at York St John University in 2005. Stephen also has a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport and Exercise Science and has extensive postgraduate training in sports injury management, prevention and movement screening.
Stephen has a particular interest in manual therapy and is a member of the musculoskeletal association of Chartered physiotherapists (MACP). Membership of this elite group demonstrates a standard of excellence in manual and manipulative physiotherapy treatments. Stephen is passionate about utilising his education and clinical experience to offer a physiotherapy service centred on exceptionally high standards of care.
In keeping with physiostation philosophy of offering their patients the best in musculoskeletal medicine Stephen has completed a Master of Science in Advanced Clinical practice. Stephen has a wealth of experience in the management of musculoskeletal pathologies and has worked in a variety of clinical settings including elite and amateur sport, the NHS as well as private practice.
HELEN TUTTON MCSP SRP
Helen qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2008 and has worked within Bridgewater Community Healthcare Trust since early 2009, initially as a rotational physiotherapist, becoming a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist in 2011.
She started working within the Ashton, Leigh and Wigan division of the trust and moved into a senior role within the Warrington division in 2013 and this is where she is working currently. Helen has worked part-time in private practice since 2011.
She is an AACP accredited acupuncture therapist and has recently completed two masters’ level modules at Manchester Metropolitan University and is looking to complete further MSc modules in the future.
Helen also completed an APPI Pilates Matwork level 1 course and regularly use pilates based exercises in the treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
MATTHEW RAMSHEAD MCSP SRP
Matt qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in physiotherapy in 2010 at Sheffield Hallam University. Spending his early days developing his skills whilst working for the youth teams at Doncaster Rovers FC, he has since gained extensive experience working in musculoskeletal settings for NHS services in Lincolnshire and Warrington.
He is a keen footballer, cricketer and runner and has a particular interest in sports injury prevention and management. He has partaken in post graduate study and has gained AACP qualifications in acupuncture.
VICKI GALLACHER MCSP SRP
In 2015 Vicki became a senior physiotherapist within the Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where she continues to practice to date. Vicki is also currently completing further post-graduate training at Master level, studying manual therapy at the University of Salford
